Private View: 11 May 6.30-7.30pm with a live performance at approximately 6.50pm.   Crypt Residency 2016 Lynn Dennison and Gen Doy will be artists in residence at the Crypt Gallery from 6th-11th May, installing works made with the assistance of an a-n new collaborations bursary and experimenting with new work including a specially created site-responsive performance.

Collaborative Movements- Crypt Residency 2016

Rowena Boshier Open daily: 2pm – 6pm The crypt’s cavernous architectural confines will be the setting for Rowena and collaborators to make sight specific work. The space will be explored by the making of drawings and seeing how the lines on the page transfer into physical movements, becoming dance. The residency is an open process and welcomes viewers to come and inhabit the space while the artist is present.

An exploration of how it may be possible using sound to transpose and overlay the experience of one place onto another. 3pm-6pm 6th – 8th January 2017 Sound installation artists Timothy Crowley and Kate Ogley collaborate on a 3-day residency. They will be creating a series of sound installation from recordings taken along the river Danube in Slovakia. The residency will investigate how these two realms interact and how one transforms the experience of the other.
