The Renaissance Nude: Leonardo, Titian, Bronzoni

June 8-1:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Join London Drawing for a fabulous afternoon of theatrical life drawing as they collaborate with artist John Close to explore the classical and the modern, the idealised and the aging, the transformative and exquisite beauty of the Renaissance body. Draw from performers and theatrical sets inspired by the block buster exhibition at the Royal Academy- The Renaissance Nude, all set against the spectacular interiors of St Pancras church in Euston.

London Drawing will be creating sets based on Bronzino’s Venus Cupid Folly & Time, an anatomically inspired set based on Leonardo sketches, and an amalgamation piece based on Titian’s epic Death or Acteaon- plus John will be giving insights and teaching about anatomy and the mythological aspects of the sets- so join us for an exciting afternoon of drawing exploration Renaissance Style!
