Thursday 16th November, 11am – 4pm
Private View: Wednesday 15th November, 6pm – 9pm.
The works in the show vary in theme and aims, but are cohesive in the underlying universality of the human experience. As with anything ‘all’s well that ends well…’, and the exhibitions play on words ambiguously leaves the famous saying unfinished, functioning as a question to open discussion on the trials and tribulations of the everyday. Raising questions from their lived experiences, and opening discussion between those of a non-art and art background. In displaying work ranging from painting to sculpture to performance the historical setting of the Crypt provides the perfect space to engage viewers with a multitude of works. As if a timeline, the exhibition is on for one evening and a day, juxtaposing the historical nature of the space and portraying the immediacy and relevance of the work within in.
