This shadow puppetry performance explores an adventure into perhaps the most peculiar corners of even H P Lovecraft’s imagination, read to the accompaniment of shadow puppetry and a live theremin soundtrack. Watch out for space cats.

Miranda Carter dreams of a glittering city… but to visit it could mean giving up her sanity. Can she find the city of Unknown Kadath? A friendly army of cats is willing to help. T L Wiswell has adapted a work so peculiar – by even H P Lovecraft’s standards – that shadow puppetry is perhaps the only way it could be staged. Sam Enthoven provides live accompaniment on theremin and other sonic contraptions. Renowned performer Jim Osman will read.
