Bill Redshaw is an Emerging Artist, living and working in Brighton; graduating from Brighton University 2022.

“Working between found materials, different layered processes draw a diaristic picture of daily life, Nature or relationships.
Inspiration from picture books, digital content, games and gifts.

I hope my bits of Art can commemorate passages of time personally, and chart the scraps of visual interest that delight me.

Touch is an important point of communication – exploring mixed textures and techniques, to translate emotion into some kind of visual code.

I’ll fix a textural body from pre-owned, accumulated belongings, and later re-visit, to sense their different natures and notes.

Sudden destructions, reversals, swaps and patch-ups, will mend together complicated fragments of abstract landscape and keep promoting creative Play.”

Bill will be creating through drawing and mixed media in the gallery daily – with windows of time where the gallery will be open for people to encounter his responses to the gallery.
