Lam’s immersive and mesmerizing installations provides audiences a quick escape from the real world.
The Crypt Gallery presents the first solo exhibition of a Hong Kong artist Catalina Lam, featuring more than 20 of her light and moving installations made in both UK and China.
Catalina Lam was born in 1996 in Hong Kong, she went to study in York since Year 10 and then moved to London to get her Fine Art degree in Chelsea College of Art. As a young artist with the international background, Lam wants to provide some new art experiences to the world. Her work explores how human trapped themselves in this anthropocentric epoch and the divorce relationship between nature and man.
