ARCSOC Afterimage is the 2026 iteration of the annual end of year exhibition: entirely funded, curated, designed and built by the University of Cambridge Architecture Society, ARCSOC. Afterimage is the lingering imprint left after looking at something bright: imperfect, yet vivid. In this retinal afterglow, colours and lights swirl… a memory without remembering; a sight with eyes shut. This year, The Crypt Gallery will host a curated selection of work; primarily graduating years, representing the spirit of the department. These exhibitions will aim to convey the imprint that the spaces in which we have spent our year leave on our drawings and models; and the manner in which all the work we produce is a reflection of our context; of our environment; of each other.
